ABOUT ME
I’m Valkyrie Rose, a Nashville based professional model, photographer, and dancer with over a decade of experience both in front of and behind the camera. Internationally published, I bring a well rounded understanding of visual storytelling, blending technical photographic knowledge with strong movement awareness and expressive, intentional posing.
My dance training includes ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, and more recently, burlesque. This foundation allows me to take direction with precision while also moving fluidly and intuitively when free-posing is preferred. As a photographer, I have a natural understanding of lighting, composition, and what translates beautifully through the lens, creating imagery that feels dynamic and refined.
I maintain an extensive wardrobe and styling collection, including specialty statement pieces and conceptual props that support a wide range of creative visions. I am also highly skilled in makeup application and can accommodate most looks to align seamlessly with each concept.
I love collaborating with photographers, brands, and artists to bring ideas to life in a way that feels elevated, artistic, and authentic. I pride myself on creating a comfortable, collaborative environment while delivering polished, high-quality results for every project.
Let's get down to it!

The hours you book with me refer to the total session time from start to wrap. This includes setup, wardrobe changes, breaks, and breakdown. Please plan to conclude the shooting portion about 15 minutes before our scheduled end time. This allows me time to pack my wardrobe, and gives you time to break down the space if we are in a studio, as well as handle payment of the remaining balance, sign any necessary releases, and finalize any documentation. This ensures everything is wrapped up professionally and smoothly for both parties.

Booking & Deposit Policy
A non-refundable retainer of 25% is required to secure your session date on my schedule.
This industry runs on trust and reputation. If you’re able to provide a minimum of three strong references from established professional travel models who can vouch for your professionalism, communication, and same day payment, I’m happy to waive the retainer.
However, please note: bookings accepted without a retainer are considered tentative. If another photographer is ready to secure the same date/time with a deposit, I reserve the right to prioritize their booking.
Retainers can be sent via Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal. @valkyrierosemodel or $valkyrierosemodel
The remaining balance is due in full on the day of the shoot.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Retainers are non-refundable unless I am the cause of cancellation. In the event that I am, you will be refunded in full, of course.
As a travel model, last minute changes can be tough to accommodate.
- 7+ days before your session: Your retainer can be transferred once to a new date during the same tour (availability permitting).
- 3–7 days before: Retainer is forfeit, but you’re welcome to rebook with a new one.
- Within 72 hours of our session: The full session rate is due, as it’s unlikely I’ll be able to fill that spot on short notice.
Rescheduling is allowed once with at least 7 days notice. Additional changes may result in cancellation.
If you no show or ghost on a booking, we will not work together in the future.
For outdoor shoots, I STRONGLY recommend having a backup plan in case of inclement weather.
Booking a session means you’ve agreed to these terms.
We will coordinate details via your preferred method (Instagram, Model Mayhem, or email). I will send a reminder one week prior to our session. If I do not hear back within a few days of that message, I will follow up once more. If I have not received a response 48 hours before the session, it will be considered canceled.
I am happy to travel up to 80 miles one way for local sessions. For travel over 50 miles one way, a $100 travel fee applies.
For workshops and events please send me a message with the details, and we can discuss custom arrangements.

LIMITATIONS

Safety & Boundaries:
Safety is my top priority. Please respect my boundaries during our session so we can work comfortably and efficiently together. Any adjustments requiring physical contact such as a stray hair or a clothing adjustment should be requested before entering my space. In most cases, I can make these adjustments myself with verbal direction, a mirror, or the help of my assistant (if present).

Assistant Policy
For some sessions, I may bring an assistant to ensure the shoot runs smoothly and safely. My assistants are professional, highly familiar with the process, and focused on supporting the flow of the session. If any photographer is averse to an assistant being present at our session, we will not work together.

Session Comfort & Environmental Safety:
If we are shooting outdoors in hot weather or in a space without air conditioning, additional breaks may be necessary to hydrate, manage sweat, and refresh makeup. Similarly, for shoots in cold or extreme conditions, I am committed to achieving the artistry we’ve planned, but we will take precautions to stay warm and safe. These measures ensure we can work effectively while protecting health and maintaining the quality of the session.
Wardrobe Coverage:
Implied nudity is the maximum limit for my work. I do not shoot with my nipples or crotch area exposed. All private areas must remain covered, whether by hair, another body part, strategic posing, or props.
Posing & Concept Guidelines:
I will not pose in erotic or pornographic positions, nor accept concepts with any pornographic or fetish themes. My posing style emphasizes subtlety, emotion, and movement, reflecting my dance training. While I may show some skin when it serves an artistic purpose, I do not work in OF/NSFW styles. If that is the focus of your project, I am happy to refer you to other models whose niche fits that work.

Are you available for trade work?
-No. However, I do occasionally attend workshops for opportunities that substantially benefit my portfolio when my schedule allows. Don't be surprised to see me! I may also consider trade for hosting, when touring. Many substantial references required for the latter.

Where do you source your wardrobe from?
-Here, there, and everywhere! I can frequently be found perusing thrift stores and antique malls for unique finds, but a large portion of my wardrobe is from exchange events with fellow industry professionals, as well as old dance costumes that have been repurposed.

What genre(s) is your specialty?
-Anything emotive and conceptual, especially with a fantasy theme. I've always been drawn to the fashion and otherworldliness of fantasy, and use it quite often in my own photographic work.

Will you film behind-the-scenes footage of our session?
-In most cases, yes. If my assistant is present they will be capturing BTS content for both of us to use. If my assistant is not present, I have a phone tripod that I will set up quickly and ensure it will not be in your way.
